This policy explains how Perfect Parteas looks after your personal information when you visit our website or get in touch about a party, and how we use cookies. We’ve kept it short and plain.

Who we are

Perfect Parteas is a children’s party venue at 45 Rydal Crescent, Walkden, Manchester M28 7JD. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the “data controller” for the information described here.

The information we collect

• When you enquire or book — the details you give us through our contact form, or by phone, email or social media: your name, your contact details, and information about the party you’re planning (such as the date, the ages of the children, and any dietary needs you tell us about).
• When you browse the site — if you accept analytics cookies, standard website-usage information such as the pages you visit and roughly which area you’re in, collected through Google Analytics. This does not identify you by name.

How we use it, and why we’re allowed to

• To answer your enquiry and arrange your party — because it’s necessary to respond to you and to provide the service you’ve asked for.
• To keep basic records of bookings and run our business properly — on the basis of our legitimate interest in managing the business.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it — only if you accept analytics cookies (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

We do not sell your information, and we don’t send marketing messages unless you’ve asked us to.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website can store on your device. We only use non-essential cookies if you accept them using the banner on our site — and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

• Google Analytics — helps us see how the site is used so we can improve it. It stays switched off until you accept. Set by Google.
• Google Maps — the maps on our Contact and Little Miss Pamper pages load from Google, which sets its own cookies. They stay hidden until you accept cookies or click “Load map”. Set by Google.

If you reject cookies the site works exactly the same — you just won’t see the embedded maps until you choose to load them, and we won’t collect analytics.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the website and our business, and they only handle your information on our behalf — our website host, our email provider, and Google (for Analytics and Maps, if you accept those cookies). We may also share information where we’re required to by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking information only for as long as we need it to arrange your party and keep sensible business records, and then we delete it. Analytics information is held by Google for a limited period in line with our settings.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, among other rights under UK data protection law. Just contact us using the details above. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page.
